Siem Reap Culture & Street Photography Tour: Local Markets & Remote Pagodas
Get away from the crowds on this Off-the-beaten-track private photo walk on the outskirts of Siem Reap. We visit a local market and remote pagoda, great cultural locations for your photography experience. On this Cambodia photography workshop we go to a local market making use of the early morning light, perhaps some street photography. Then it’s off to a remote pagoda, where we witness Buddhist monks going about their daily routines, if you’re lucky, monk water blessing. Witness food preparation in old kitchen settings, some great locations for learning travel photography tips. Our cue to leave is the monk chanting prior to their main meal of the day.

What to Bring:
- Gear Recommendations: A variable focus lens is ideal for walkabout. However, for those low light fast action shots around markets a fast prime may be preferable. 35mm is the choice of many for environmental portraits.
- Dress Code: Good footwear is advised but not essential. We will be walking around the wet market, choose accordingly. At the pagoda it’s no hats inside pagodas. Keep things respectful around monks with knees and shoulders covered.
