Typical schedule of three day workshop over four days with rest periods:
Day 1
AM 6am An early start for the first light of the day as the sun rises at south gate, then off to Ta Prohm Jungle, a maze of giant silk-cotton trees and hidden Angkorian devata. Time permitting we will visit one more remote jungle temple before our mid day lunch break back at your hotel to freshen up and escape the mid day heat 11.30-2.30pm.
PM: Preah Khan, discover the endless chambers of this magnificent jungle temple. Bayon, the giant buddhist faces of Angkor, for golden hour followed by sunset at one of the Angkor Thom gates before returning you back to your hotel around 6.30pm.
Day 2
AM: Markets / Pagodas. 7am pick up, return to hotel 11/11.30am. Siem Reaps biggest and most interesting market with a diversity of traders followed by a remote pagoda where we witness food being prepared and morning activities of the local monks.
PM: Free
Day 3
AM Optional Phnom Bakheng or Angkor Wat Sunrise followed by a jungle walk then off to a remote temple hire monk shoot. A fave for clients and great opportunity.
PM Lesser visited temples, onto Angkor Wat for golden hour or alternative sunset.
Day 4
AM Your morning is free.
PM 2pm – 7pm Tonle Sap village walk + traditional brick making.
The village sees less tourists than others but is a 1 hour drive from Siem Reap. Village entrance $3pp +$20 boat if required.
